Location: Banbury, M40 Central Development

Works: Installation of 2350m reptile fencing and construction of two hibernacula.

Summary: Akers Land & Ecology Ltd were commissioned to install reptile fencing to secure the perimeter of the M40 Central development site. We were also tasked with creating a fenced-in receptor site incorporating two reptile hibernacula.

As this reptile translocation exercise was being initiated towards the end of the mitigation season, it was essential that Barwood Developments instructed a contractor that could react quickly and efficiently. Once instructed Akers Land & Ecology Ltd were onsite within 48hrs and completed the installation in 6 days.
